The firm Lucia Maria Teixeira Ferreira Individual (trade name: Lucia Teixeira Consultoria Jurídica) provides legal services related to Digital Law, Privacy and Data Protection, working on regulatory, contractual and related consumer issues, in addition to offering solutions specific legal issues related to projects to adapt to the General Law on Protection of Personal Data. The office offers personalized service, agile and adapted to the client's needs, contributing to safety in decision-making.
Its founding partner, Lucia Maria Teixeira Ferreira, is a lawyer and retired Attorney of Justice (from the Public Ministry of the State of Rio de Janeiro), with extensive professional experience, both in matters of public and private law. Due to the relevant services provided, in 2013, she was awarded the Necklace of Merit from the Public Ministry of the State of Rio de Janeiro.
She is the co-author of one of Professor Caio Mario da Silva Pereira's works and is the author of numerous articles and opinions on legal works. He had previous professional experience in Labor Law, having held a public position at the Regional Labor Court of the 1st Region, where he was Assistant to the Labor Judge and Judicial Assistant and in the period from 1985 to 1991, when he took office as Prosecutor of Justice of the MPRJ.
Lucia Maria Teixeira Ferreira holds a Master's Degree in Civil Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro and is the Coordinator of Studies and Opinions of the Data Protection and Privacy Commission of OAB / RJ. With a solid background in the area, he has the CIPP / E Certification - Certified Information Privacy Professional / Europe, from the IAPP- International Association of Privacy Professional, being a member of this international association, in addition to being a member of IBDCivil and IBDFAM.
In addition to the provision of conventional consultancy, Lucia Teixeira Consultoria Jurídica also works with the orientation and representation of its clients before the inspection bodies, such as the Public Ministries, Senacon and Procons, both in the extrajudicial and judicial spheres, and will continue to exercise the same activities of representation before the future National Data Protection Authority, when it is installed.
Career
She holds a Master's degree in Civil Law from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ) and also a post-graduate degree in Urban Sociology from the Department of Social Sciences at UERJ. He joined the faculty of the Graduate Program of the Faculty of Law of UERJ in the Special Law Course for Children and Adolescents and the Civil-Constitutional Law Course.
Since 2006, she has participated in the Brazil-Portugal Research Group whose thematic axis is “Care as a Legal Value”, coordinated by Professor Tânia da Silva Pereira, Judge Antônio Coltro and Professor Guilherme de Oliveira (University of Coimbra).

Lucia has studied the subject of Privacy for more than 10 years and since 2016 she has gone deeper into the field of Data Protection, having taken several extension courses at renowned institutions.
